I took this online course online by word of a friend who said that this would allow me to operate a boat at 15, but all that happened after i passed was i printed out a certificate thing. Do i get a card or was that not the real test?

   Not sure which online course you may have took.
   Boat Ed allows you to take the exam, and when you pass you have to pay the course fee. You will then receive the Florida ID card in the mail.

   The copy you printed out may be good until you get the one from the state.
