As far as sailboat yachts in that range (40-50) the two premiere brands that come to mind are Nautor’s Swan and Oyster. Expect to spend about $1.5 to $2 million for a 50 footer.

Hi, I work for a sail boat company, and I find your question to be very common. There are many good boats out there that can accomidate what your looking for, However the best way to Get what your looking for would be to have a custom/designed/built boat. (if you can afford to do this). If you have any interest I could get you some pricing/size/design information, if you want to look into this approach.

Hi there,I am happy to see that there are some want to be boaters out there,Thats great. And welcome aboard.I Have lived on my aft cabin yacht for 10 years this is my 16th one and the 3rd smallist. My largest was a 77 footer. You need to start figureing out what you can live with out and what you need,My Chris Craft is 56 ft,Two people can live just fine on this size and it is user friendly thats important. If you are running single handed anything in the 50ft range will give you the room but easy to handle alone.Any bigger you need a hand really, but any smaller and you are just cramped.i like my space and have all i can handle onboard. Two full state rooms a full bath with a shower that will handle 2 adult easy if needed.washer and dryer is a must too as that is a pain with out.I do have another boat a 53 ft sportfisher set up nice that i will let go very cheap that would be a hell of a liveaboard.Money to me is not the rule i don’t need it.I would sell this boat for about 7500.00 that is low by far the NDA list on it is over 80 but the yard bill is a pain it is in drydock and i planned to sell it last summer but never got around to it i have been cruiseing non stop for about 18 months now and would be happy to help someone out .
